EZ-Runner (#14) Parts Sold by Zip Code/Purchased by Zip Code

Purpose
These maps show where parts are being purchased from and where they are being sold, broken down by zip code. They help visualize sourcing hubs versus customer markets, revealing geographic alignment or gaps in your operations.

Key Metrics

  • Zip Code Clusters – Density of purchases or sales in specific regions.

  • Part Volume by Location – Larger circles represent higher transaction counts.

  • Regional Spread – How concentrated or dispersed activity is across the region.

Insights to Look For

  • Market penetration: Sales dots may be more evenly distributed, suggesting broad customer reach compared to the denser purchase clusters.

  • Logistics efficiency: If purchases and sales overlap geographically, shipping costs and turnaround times are minimized. When they don’t, inefficiencies and higher costs may result.

  • Growth opportunities: States or regions where purchases are high but sales are light may present untapped customer markets.
