EZ-Runner (#3) Sold & Returned / Purchased & Returned

Purpose
This chart provides a clear snapshot of the proportion of sales and purchases that result in returns. They complement the detailed tables by showing, at a glance, how much of your overall flow is affected by returns.

Key Metrics

  • Sales Returns % – Share of sold parts that are returned by customers.

  • Purchase Returns % – Share of purchased parts that are returned to vendors.

  • Total Parts– The total part counts behind the percentages.

Insights to Look For

  • Relative scale of impact: Comparing the two charts shows whether vendor-related returns or customer-related returns are the bigger issue.

  • Systemic vs. isolated issues: If both percentages are high, returns may be driven by upstream supply quality problems. If only one side is high, the issue is more likely tied to customer demand or internal processes.

  • Quick health check: These charts serve as a rapid pulse check for your business. Healthy operations show a dominant “sales/purchases” slice with a smaller return slice. A growing return slice signals potential red flags.
