EZ-Notes is an efficient, permanent way to add a note to a part within EZ-Suite that is not impacted by any action made in your Yard Management system.
What can I use an EZ Note for?
EZ-Notes is a tool that was designed for flexibility. We envision this tool to be a quick way to document any notes for any order. For example, you could use the field for tracking numbers, stalled order acknowledgment, or a way to track calls on customer pickup orders.
How do I add an EZ Note?

To add a EZ Note, simply right click on the order you want to add the note to, and select “add EZ Note”

Insert the desired text and click “add note”.

That note is then immediately visible within the EZ Notes column in your view.
Each time a user adds an EZ note it will then be visible within the EZ Notes Column, this column will always show the most recently added note. (See below for further instructions on adding this column to your EZ-QC view). We also track previous notes that have been added and record them within the order in a new tab called “EZ Notes”. Each note is time stamped and has the user that created the note documented in the note history.
To add or move the EZ Notes column within your view, simply click on the pencil in the upper right corner of EZ-QC. Select the view you want to adjust, select “EZ Notes” from your available columns list, and add it to the Visible columns list. Adjust the EZ Notes field farther up or down this list to make it correspondingly move farther left or right within the view itself. Once you have the column where you want it, select save, and you are good to go.
