EZ-QC (Operations #5) QC Orders by Quality Status

Purpose
This card visualizes the overall distribution of QC orders by status within the selected date range. Using a pie chart, it highlights the proportion of completed, cancelled, new, and stalled orders, providing a clear snapshot of operational health.

Key Metrics

  • Complete Orders – The percentage and count of orders successfully processed.

  • Cancelled Orders – The share of orders that were not fulfilled.

  • New Orders – Recently created orders that are awaiting further action.

  • Stalled/Other Exceptions – Orders that failed to progress, often due to operational or system issues.

  • Percentage of Total – Each status shown as a percentage of the total order volume.

Insights to Look For

  • Operational efficiency: A high proportion of Complete orders is a strong indicator of throughput health.

  • Failure points: Cancelled or Stalled orders highlight wasted effort or lost sales opportunities that may need corrective action.

  • Work intake trends: Tracking the share of New orders helps measure how demand or order creation compares to completions.

  • Balance check: If incomplete statuses (cancelled, stalled, waiting) consistently exceed ~15–20%, it may indicate process inefficiencies.
