EZ-QC (Operations #7) Orders by Production Type

Purpose
This card displays the distribution of QC orders by production type as a percentage of total orders. It provides a snapshot of which sources (Warehouse, Yard, Brokered, etc.) are driving the most order activity within the selected time frame.

Key Metrics

  • Total Orders by Production Type – Number of orders created, grouped into categories such as Warehouse, Yard, Brokered, and Dismantle.

  • Percentage Share of Total – Each category’s contribution to overall orders, shown as a percentage.

  • Visual Comparison – A pie chart makes it easy to see dominant vs. minor contributors at a glance.

Insights to Look For

  • Majority channels: Identify whether Warehouse, Yard, or Brokered are consistently the largest order sources, which can guide resource planning.

  • Operational balance: A healthy mix across multiple production types can reduce reliance on one channel.

  • Outliers: Very small categories like Drop Ship or Dismantle may warrant attention if their volume changes suddenly, signaling shifts in strategy or operational issues.

  • Strategic planning: If one category is overly dominant, managers may explore efficiency improvements or diversification opportunities.
