EZ-Route (#11) Customers with Longest Stop Times

Purpose
This card highlights which customers account for the most time spent at stops. It helps managers understand which accounts may require additional handling, paperwork, or service time, and where delivery efficiency is most impacted.

Key Metrics

  • Stop Time in Minutes (Sum) – Total time spent at each customer across the reporting period.

  • Customer Name – The specific customers driving the longest stop times.

  • Share of Total Stop Time – Percentage contribution of each customer to overall stop time.

Insights to Look For

  • Operational bottlenecks: Customers with consistently long stop times can delay routes and reduce overall delivery efficiency.

  • Service requirements: Some customers may naturally require longer handling.

  • Process improvement opportunities: If stop times are high due to inefficiencies, these can be targeted for improvement.

  • Customer segmentation: Identifying which accounts consume more driver time helps prioritize account management or negotiate expectations.
