# EZ-Route (#2) YTD Sales totals vs Last Year

**Purpose**
This card measures the total dollar amount of sales orders tied to deliveries year-to-date (YTD), compared to the same period last year. It highlights revenue impact from delivery operations and helps assess whether growth in deliveries is translating into higher sales value.

**Key Metrics**

- **Current YTD Sales Order Amount** – Total revenue generated from orders fulfilled by drivers this year.
- **Prior YTD Sales Order Amount** – Revenue for the same period last year.
- **% Change** – Growth rate in sales order value year over year.

**Insights to Look For**

- **Revenue growth vs. delivery growth**: If sales order value is rising at the same pace as deliveries, growth is being driven by higher order volume. If it’s rising faster, average order value may be increasing.
- **Customer demand signals**: Higher sales order amounts indicate stronger customer demand or improved upselling.
- **Operational leverage**: Increased sales with controlled delivery cost per unit boosts profitability.
- **Potential risks**: If deliveries grow faster than order amounts, it may suggest smaller average order sizes, raising efficiency concerns.
