Purpose
This card evaluates delivery route performance by combining sales, delivery counts, pickups, mileage, and drive times. It helps managers measure both financial return and operational efficiency of completed routes.

Key Metrics

  • No. of Stops – Total stops.
  • Sales Amount – Total Sales.
  • % of Total Sales – Contribution of the route to overall delivery sales.

  • Hourly Sales Amount – Revenue generated per hour of delivery driving.

  • Avg Sale per Stop – Average revenue per customer stop.

  • Delivery Count / % of Total Deliveries – Number and share of deliveries completed.

  • Average Sale per Part – Revenue efficiency by part delivered.

  • Pickup Count / % of Total Pickups – Reverse logistics handled during the route.

  • Miles Driven – Distance covered during the route.

  • Actual vs. Expected Drive Time – Time spent on deliveries compared to benchmarks.

Insights to Look For

  • Revenue efficiency: High hourly sales and strong sales per stop indicate profitable delivery routes.

  • Time management: Comparing actual drive time to expected helps spot delays or inefficiencies.

  • Mileage vs. productivity: Low sales per mile or per hour may suggest inefficient route planning.

  • Pickup-to-delivery balance: Monitoring pickups ensures return logistics don’t overwhelm outbound productivity.

  • Driver benchmarking: These metrics can be compared across routes or drivers to identify best practices.
