EZ-QC (Sales #2) Current YTD Sales Order Amount vs Last Year (Completed Orders)

Purpose
This card measures the total dollar value of completed sales orders year-to-date (YTD) compared to the same period last year. It shows overall revenue performance and highlights growth or decline in monetary terms.

Key Metrics

  • Current YTD Sales Order Amount – Total value of sales orders completed this year to date.

  • Prior YTD Sales Order Amount – Total value of sales orders completed in the same period last year.

  • Percent Change – Growth or decline compared to last year, expressed as a percentage.

Insights to Look For

  • Revenue growth trends: A positive percentage indicates increased sales revenue, suggesting higher demand, stronger pricing, or better sales execution.

  • Declining sales dollars: A negative percentage highlights potential pricing issues, reduced demand, or fewer high-value orders.

  • Volume vs. value: Compare with parts sold (Card #1). If revenue is up while unit sales are down, pricing or product mix may be improving margins.

  • Goal tracking: Use this as a quick benchmark against annual or quarterly revenue targets.
