IO Exception When Exporting From Pinnacle

What is an IO exception and how to handle it

An IO Exception can occur for one of a few reasons:

•The order has unusual characters (upside-down question marks, quotation marks, semi-colons, etc.) in the customer’s name.

•RMA notes that are considered to be too long.

•Incomplete part details.


There may also be a possible issue regarding your Workstation or server

•This can be caused by either an anti-virus or a firewall on the network blocking Pinnacle from reaching Ez-route’s servers.

To fix this the workstation or servers anti-virus/firewall will need to be adjusted to allow access between servers.
