The Process to Select Alternate Parts from EZ and Correct the Original Work Order
There are three ways to select an alternate part for Order Manager.
1. From Pinnacle - Go back into Pinnacle and correct the work order manually.(In the case where an order needs a line item updated, whether that be an in-stock part or PO, you can do the following.
Open the work order > Choose alternate item (top left) > Choose new part or new PO.
This will cancel the old part from the order in Pinnacle and that cancellation will reflect in EZ.)
2. From the EZ Quality App - A part puller can select the orange “Alternates Available” bar and select an available alternate.
3. From EZ Order Manager - You can right click on an order within Order Manager and select “Use Alternates.”
In each of these scenarios the original work order will be corrected to reflect the alternate part that you selected, the original part being replaced will be removed from the work order and within EZ it will show that line item in a “Replaced” quality status within your Resolutions Filter.
